Gift Card Program Launched to Raise Scholarship Funds

The State Board has approved the launch of new program to help raise funds for our scholarships tournaments. All proceeds are to be used for scholarships. It’s called “scrip”, and it’s the fundraising program that works while you shop. Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers.  They’re the same gift certificates that you buy at the store.  Many popular retailers participate in the scrip program including JC Penny, The Gap, Shell, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster and many, many others.  For more details and how to order....

2008-2009 Pepsi Championships Tournament Information

Tournament rules, information and forms regarding this season's Pepsi Championships are now available on the site.

Each center will receive a league level handbook and posters for the tournament directly from USBC headquarters via the mail. The league level handbook containing league level rules, can also be downloaded from our site as well as bowl.com. Our state information will also be mailed (9/29/08) to participating centers and is available for download directly from this site. For more details....

2008 Pennsylvania Youth Summit

On July 20, nearly 50 people attended the Summit to discuss our two state tournaments. There purpose during this round table discussion was to develop ideas that would improve our tournament and increase participation.
