This program has awarded $12,000 in scholarships over the first three years of the award, as it has annually awarded $2,000 in scholarships to two youth bowlers who are in school and at least in the 9th grade.
The 11th Annual Open Championships entry Form is now available for download from the web site. Info on the Headquarters Hotel and things to do while in Pittsburgh are also available.
Enter the singles event of the Open Championships, then enter the optional Junior Gold Qualifier. One out of Five entries will earn a paid spot in the 2014 Junior Gold Championships to be held in Buffalo NY, July 12-18, 2014. Spots be awarded in the U12, U15 and U20 Divisions. Bowler must be a Junior Gold Member prior to entering qualifying event.
The annual meeting and Awards Dinner are now set to be held in Altoona the weekend of June 14 & 15, 2014. Schedule can be found on our Schedule of Events page.

New For 2013-2014:
With the above changes there will be a total of six divisions for both boys and girls. A total of 8 bowlers will qualify for Jr. Gold, 2 each, one boy and one girl from U12, U15, U17 and U20 Divisions. The U17 advancers will compete in the U20 Division at the National Jr. Gold event.
Once again we are giving the chance to hold your spots for the 2014 Open Championships to be held in Pittsburgh, PA the first two weekends in April and the the fourth weekend as well. No bowling on Easter weekend.
